Synchronized view Pro

The synchronized view displays a Google Maps panel and a Google Street View panel side by side. When you navigate in one panel, the other follows. Click on the map and the Street View jumps to that location. Move in Street View and the map marker updates.

Synchronized Street View and Map

How it works

The plugin creates two Google Maps API instances — a Map and a StreetViewPanorama — and connects them with map.setStreetView(pano). This is a native Google Maps feature that ensures both views stay perfectly in sync.

Layout

On desktop, the two panels sit side by side (50/50 split). On mobile devices (under 600px width), they stack vertically (map on top, Street View below), each taking 50% of the container height.

Configuration

All options from both the Google Maps and Street View features apply:

  • Map styles and layers apply to the map panel
  • Heading, pitch, and zoom apply to the Street View panel
  • Markers and info boxes render on the map panel

Use cases

The synchronized view is ideal for:

  • Real estate listings — Show the property location on the map while letting visitors explore the street
  • Tourism and hospitality — Display the hotel on a map with surrounding landmarks while providing a street-level preview
  • Delivery and logistics — Help customers identify your exact location with both a bird's-eye and street-level view

Free version behavior

In the free version, selecting "Street View + Google Maps" shows a message directing users to upgrade to Pro. The synchronized map functionality requires the Pro license.
